Long Exposure Landscapes

These are a few Long Exposures that I took around Newcastle a few weeks ago. Long Exposures are created when a photographer sets up there camera on a tripod with a long shutter speed. This means the camera is capturing light for the same position for a few seconds creating a blur of light and movement. This creates an interesting effect on the movement and reflections on the River Tyne, especially when someone is jetting around on a jet-ski, it also creates an interesting effect when photographing moving traffic on the Tyne Bridge. Check these out.
